A Role You Will Love
The Reward Centre of Excellence (COE) is made up of the following workstreams: Compensation, Benefits, Incentives, Mobility and Recognition. The COE is tasked with delivering a wide range of transformational, strategic, and operational reward programs of work that support the overall People strategy and deliver an employee experience Computershare strives for. The Reward team is responsible for the design and implementation of total rewards. The team aims to design solutions that balance global consistency with business and geographic relevance. They do this through a combination of deep functional expertise, solid understanding of the business imperatives and knowledge of modern reward practices. They endeavour to build a total reward offering that is inclusive, meaningful, commercially responsible and valued by employees.
What Will You Bring to The Role?
The role will lead the design and implementation of incentive programs across the business and particularly for US based businesses. It will liaise with the business, wider Reward team and People stakeholders in providing effective incentive solutions which support achievement of business objectives, drive employee engagement and return on investment. The role will also help support the transformation of the Reward Centre of Excellence (COE) and its program of work.
  • Deliver the design and implementation of incentives across the company and particularly in the US ensuring they maintain local relevance and regulatory requirements, including: Short Term Incentives Sales Incentive Plans, Commission Plans, Short Term Bonuses, Project Bonuses, Retention Bonuses, Sign on Bonuses, One off Bonuses
  • Undertake and be responsible for accurate data modelling in support of incentive scheme development, ensuring external benchmarking trends are considered.
  • Support all aspects of incentive schemes including invites, communication, annual review of thresholds, eligibility, pay-out scales and governance.
  • Overview and support the calculation of incentives on a quarterly, half yearly and annual basis making sure the participants are paid in line with legitimate activity and promptly.
  • Support in the successful delivery of the annual incentive review process, ensuring the project is run on time.
  • Contribute as requested/required to the development of papers required by local committees.
  • Provide solution-oriented accurate written, verbal and analytical guidance, interpretation and insights, in order to drive the reward incentive agenda forward
Other key skills and experience required:
  • Experience working in incentive plan design and management is must
  • Relevant HR qualification/certification
  • A bachelor's or master's degree level qualification is preferred and/or 3-5 years of similar work experience
  • Experience managing small projects within Reward
  • Experience working in a large, global and complex organisation would be beneficial
  • Ability to read, analyse, and interpret the most complex documents.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Ability to work with advanced mathematical concepts and mastery of Excel.
  • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
