Description **Job Description:**

+ **Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to** :

+ Overseeing the Volcker trading process (from the entire trade life cycle, including book set up in the Bookmap system and controls)

+ Real time monitoring of GWIM sales and trading businesses

+ Generating daily risk reports to ensure compliance with the Volcker program

+ Ensuring data accuracy, reviewing positions against limits

+ Resolving trading violations

+ Escalating any issues including operational gaps

+ Performing ad-hoc reporting/projects

+ Identify and implement improvements to GWIM’s risk monitoring and reporting capabilities by developing enhanced more comprehensive reports and risk metrics around Volcker, Market Risk, and market access rules (such as 15c3-5).

+ **Required skills:**

+ Bachelor or graduate degree in Finance, Math, Engineering or Computer Science, or any other quantitative discipline

+ A broad knowledge across financial products and asset classes and an understanding of VaR and other risk management metrics

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including well-developed presentation skills

+ Advanced desktop technology skills including database management, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to quickly learn new programs and applications.

+ The ability and comfort to work with various data and risk systems

+ Exceptionally strong attention-to-details

+ Self-motivated, intellectually curious and enthusiastic

+ Collaborative and team-player

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment at times under tight deadlines

+ **Desired skills:**

+ Knowledge of GWIM trade flows and Rule 15c3-5

+ Knowledge of Volcker preferred, but not required

+ Knowledgeable of market risk controls and governance frameworks
