Position Summary:

The Safety and Compliance Manager is responsible for promoting and assuring that our Wildlife Operations are in compliance with all driver and company safety programs. This position operates out of our corporate office.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage field compliance with GPS and Driver Certification policies.

  • Handle all GPS troubleshooting communications / inquiries received from the field.

  • Attend district meetings to discuss safety initiatives / GPS / Driver Certification or other important topics

  • Ensure notification of non-compliance with GPS or Driver Certification policy where necessary.

  • Coordinate GPS integration for acquisitions.

  • Maintain policy and process changes as related to GPS, Driver Safety, and all other safety initiatives.

  • Monitor GPS / Driver Certification data reports and proactively identify potential risks and how best to mitigate.

  • Manage the EDriving program.

  • Work with field operations and internal departments on GPS / Driver Certification findings that are outside / close to being outside of policy requirements.

  • Coordinate and manage all enterprise related rollouts of new safety initiatives (i.e. Cell Control, Fall Protection training, Safety broadcasts, compliance with ISNet and Avetta, etc.).

  • Manage the ISNet, Avetta, and other thirdparty safety vendors for our commercial customer accounts.

  • Build a structured safety calendar of events for regular field communication.

  • Work with our commercial customers on safety issues as they arise.

  • Onsite safety training when requested by the Region or as identified by audit.

  • Update / periodically review all safety policies to ensure they are OSHA compliant.

  • Benchmark with other companies to ensure we are implementing all best practices.

  • Interface with the Region leaders to assist in filling any safety gaps or initiatives that need attention.

  • Design / implement new safety initiatives.

  • Actively analyze the company Safety Culture and make improvements where and as needed.

  • Find ways to help automate our processes to improve efficiencies.

  • Conduct regular field QA visits with particular emphasis on Safety and Driver Compliance.

  • Assist and train the Safety Review Committees as needed.

  • Work with Director of Operational Integrity on other issues as assigned.

Candidates must be physically capable ofsafelyperforming the following job duties:

  • Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's guidelines

  • Lift and carry up to 75 lbs
  • Perform administrative duties while seated for long periods of time

Further Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required; four-year degree preferred

  • Minimum 5-years of experience in Risk Management and/or Loss Control Field

  • Certification in Safety & Health desired

  • We require a good driving record and the ability to pass a drug screen
