Role: Wireless Account Manager

Reporting to: Country Sales Manager (TW/HK)

Location: Taipei

Summary

The opportunity arises for VIAVI to hire an experienced Account Manager in Taipei, driving sales of VIAVI Wireless products in Taiwan. This is an individual contributor and sales quota-carrying role.

Major Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving/exceeding the business goals and sales quota in the assigned territory
  • Develop and maintain key accounts and customer relationships related to NEMs, Carriers, Labs production & Contract Manufacturers
  • Perform market analysis of the assigned territory and provide up to date data on market dynamics including potential opportunities, competitor activities and others for effective sales
  • Develop and execute sales programs directly in cooperation with BU
  • Develop and manage an effective channel ecosystem to appropriate cover the assigned products in order to meet and exceed company sales objectives
  • Maintain and submit an accurate sales forest for the assigned territory using assigned tools such as a CRM
  • Attend tradeshows and host seminars to promote VIAVI Solutions
Pre-Requisites & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or communications-related technical training and experience is preferred
  • At least 6 ~ 8 years of experience in Communications Test & Measurements instruments with background in wireless domain
  • Understand 5G L1 protocol and good trouble shooting skills, 5G base station development experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of applications, including the OSI model, plus common network protocols and applications used by major service providers
  • L4-L7 protocol experience with basic understanding of L2/L3 experience with knowledge of common routing and switching protocols
  • Knowledge of 4G and 5G RAN to Core Network topologies and components and procedures
  • Previous Application traffic generation is a plus particularly Mobile emulation suites
  • Strong verbal, written and customer communication skills.
  • Candidates with cursory knowledge of 5G also advantageous
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese language
  • Self-motivated, highly organized with strong time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to coordinate with FAE and BU
  • Good presentation and communication skill towards customers.
  • Being able to work under pressure, in critical situations and under tight deadlines
