Job Summary

As the Senior Communications, Training and Business Analyst, you will serve as a productive professional contributor, who supports the management, coordination and implementation of the pre-registration/batch registration process and serves as a liaison and coordinator for the communications and trainings between the Office of the Registrar and campus partners focusing on enrollment optimization efforts. Under the general supervision of the senior director of enrollment optimization, works to achieve day to day objectives focused on communication and training needs focusing on the pre-registration process and supporting business functions including, but not limited to, degree audit analysis and curriculum process execution, course and curriculum system integration and master catalog data management. Helps identify potential solutions using various systems. Communicates timelines, gathers feedback and seeks improvement from the University community on issues related to policies, guidelines, business practices, and strategic priorities. Maintains continuous contact with stakeholders across campus including, but not limited to, colleges and departments, administrative units and central IT to revise and update content, as well as identify what student impact will occur. Understands, educates and streamlines processes that support the student life cycle as it interacts with pre-registration activities. Understands how enrollment objectives, degree plans (catalog term), scheduling, registration, and record processes integrate and affect each other.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Four years of university experience.
  • Practical knowledge and experience with student information systems and the ability to develop communications and trainings focused on processes and utilizing technology.
  • Experience in developing, implementing and evaluating training plans.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituents in a diverse community.
  • Ability to analyze and solve vague problems.
  • Team-orientated and able to multi-task and have a customer service orientation.
  • Attention to detail in organizing and planning.
  • Experience in a large multi-campus university setting.

Preferred:

  • Experience as an academic advisor.
  • Working knowledge of Degree Works, Ellucian, Unitime, and Digital Architecture.
  • Purdue University experience.

  • FLSA: Exempt (Not Eligible for Overtime).
