A role you will love

Under general direction, formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on user needs. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Analyses and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis activities.
Primary Accountabilities

  • Responsible for programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of core applications, databases, and utilities. Support the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, specifications, development, change management, testing and deployment activities in accordance with company Best Practices and Code Standards.
  • Lead and make design decisions to create simple, elegant and re-usable software components as a part of larger enterprise applications. Work closely with developers, project managers and executives to ensure the release of high-quality products. Lead design and implementation efforts of project teams and development efforts.
  • Translate customer requirements, recommend system solutions, and formulate detailed specifications from which enterprise applications are developed. Work closely with business partners to produce quality products that meet business needs
  • Work collaboratively with team members and business partners in defining, designing, developing and implementing technology solutions to improve business functions. Provides analysis and design support in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures which are cost effective and meet user requirements. Analyze applications and implement improvements to optimize performance
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of projects, which includes the design and execution of acceptance test plans to ensure a successful implementation. Perform thorough testing of your own and other team members' developed code. Develop system documentation for all developed applications, including design and technical specifications.
  • Track and report development progress and performance on a regular basis
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

What will you bring to the role?


  • A strong understanding of technical and infrastructure environments (data communications, network, security, etc.)
  • Must possess strong attention to detail, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to effectively facilitate and lead design and implementation of software systems with development teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple concurrent projects of varying priorities and shift focus from one project to another with minimal loss of productivity or quality.
  • Proficient in identifying project needs, estimating and prioritizing tasks, setting intermediate goals and milestones to accomplish the outcome.
  • The ability to function as a team player and lead team members in large projects.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic team environment and interact at all levels to ensure reliability, availability, scalability, and performance of applications.
  • Ability to lead technology solution designs/projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and project planning/strategizing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated experience with adhering to usability, design and development standards.
  • Demonstrated experience with all aspects of unit testing, performance testing and user acceptance testing.
  • In-depth experience with the development lifecycle and software development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in high performance application design and architecture.
  • Minimum of 6 years of professional, technical experience in a developer role.
  • Proficiency or knowledge in the following
  • HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
  • Microsoft Windows environment development.
  • C#, ASP.Net MVC framework, JQuery.
  • Cross-browser development and design.
  • OWASP top 10 and general secure development principles.
  • Unit testing principles. Version control principles
  • Proficiency or knowledge in the following
  • SPA development
  • Adaptive/Responsive web design.
  • Frontend frameworks such as AngularJS & Bootstrap.
  • CSS Pre-processors.
  • RESTful APIs.
  • T-SQL.
  • SSRS
  • Mail merge
  • Scalable and secure web architecture.
  • MS accreditation
  • Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD)

Compensation. $115,000 - $130,000
