**Job Description:**



Come join an exciting team within Global Information Security (GIS). Cyber Security Technology (CST) is a globally distributed team responsible for cyber security innovation and architecture, engineering, solutions and capabilities development, cyber resiliency, access management engineering, data strategy, deployment maintenance, technical project management and information technology security control support.



These senior contributors research, design and engineer software and hardware information security and directory technology systems for authentication, perimeter security, security compliance tools, etc. and develop relevant security policies and procedures. They apply in-depth technical and project knowledge to address business requirements to design secure solutions to protect the bank's assets while meeting client needs. They serve as a spokesperson for the security team on specialized projects and act as a prime consultant on large programs and initiatives that affect the organizations long term goals and objectives. They work closely with the project management team to clearly define outcomes, define key milestones for incremental delivery and help execute on those deliverables.. These individuals exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain desired results and provide direction and guidance to others in the group. They work under minimal supervision with general guidance from a Technical or Senior Technical Manager and typically have 710 years of prior information security technology experience.



Primary Level of Engagement: Is the day to day engineering lead for one or more initiatives, defines outcomes and the technical tasks required to complete the work.

Key Responsibilities:



-Serve as the in-depth subject matter expert for one or more engineering initiatives.



-Define the major milestones, technical work break-down structure, key performance metrics and outcomes for engineering initiatives.



-Lead the delivery of the major engineering milestones, such as requirements curation and the testing and development of runbooks.



-Serve as the point of contact for clients and produce reporting as needed.



-Conduct research, proofs of concept and other exploration activities such as evaluating new toolsets.



-Constantly looking for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution without being afraid of challenging the status quo.



-Identify and raise risks or potential vulnerabilities at all stages of the security engineering process.



-Think outside the box in order to develop multiple solutions to complex problems.



-Navigate and work effectively across a complex, geographically dispersed organization.



-Work closely with a diverse set of stakeholders with varying priorities to debate and negotiate paths forward.



-Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause.



-Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.



-Identify gaps in information security standards adherence and work with appropriate partners to develop plans to close gaps.



-Mentor more junior security engineers and coach team members in the delivery and release.



Required skills:



-Experience managing large program and project implementations (Experience at a financial institution is a plus)



-Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, from technical experts to senior executives



-Ability to lead and influence others outside of the direct team/group

$142,000 - $194,000
annualized salary, offers to be negotiated based on experience, education and skill set.
