Job Summary:

Reporting to a North American Renewals Business Take-On (BTO) Manager, this role is responsible for directly supporting the implementation of CPA Global patent or trademark renewals management programs. The Sr. Renewals Business Take-On Project Manager regularly monitors the scope, schedule, and list of deliverables while adhering to internal and external deadlines. In addition, this role may conduct analysis and reporting for CPA Global cross-functional teams and divisions.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop the highest skill level for all required BTO tasks, and consistently meet the service levels and KPIs by:

  • Responsible for managing implementation projects for National and Strategic accounts
  • Following the established CPA Global procedures and guidelines, thus ensuring successful and satisfactory completion of each activity.
  • Managing numerous engagements simultaneously with a high level of quality and precision.
  • Performing data review, high-level analysis, cleansing, mapping, and transfer from various renewals software programs or files.
  • Reviewing information pertaining to the potential sale; providing feedback on contractual start dates and deadlines; and ensuring incoming contracts reflect all previous discussions and agreements for the scope of service.
  • Collaborating with other internal organizations, including the participation in peer checking of work completed by colleagues
  • Mentoring and cross-training Jr. members of the BTO team. Assisting with workload for SMB accounts.

Provide personalized and proactive BTO process management that increases client satisfaction by:

  • Managing and meeting client expectations and anticipating client needs.
  • Exhibiting the highest level of care when working with confidential client data files.
  • Delivering training to customers with goal of developing client knowledge and familiarity with CPA Global renewals products and services.
  • Facilitating a seamless transfer of the clients renewals account to the servicing team for ongoing support
  • Soliciting client feedback via the standard BTO client satisfaction survey, and responding to opinions regarding improvement

Primary Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and one to three years technical-related, project management-related, or client service-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrable ability in skills, experience, and essential duties for this role
  • General understanding of Intellectual Property laws and regulations is recommended
  • Functional knowledge of the MS Office suite in general, and MS Excel/Word/Access/PowerPoint in particular; familiarity with MS Project, MS Visio, and Salesforce.com is preferred
  • Ability to learn
  • Excellence in administrative requirements, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate proficiency and discipline in established procedures and workflow
  • Comfortably and professionally interact with internal and external managers and clients, with emphasis on grammar and clarity/completeness in written responses; effectively present information in English
  • Patience and the ability to cope with a high-pressure client situation; knowing when to escalate to management
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to see the "big picture" while ensuring continued execution of daily tasks
  • Aptitude and creativity in problem-solving
  • Multitasking and organizational proficiency
  • Work independently or with supervision, depending on the needs of the situation
