Job Purpose:


The Sr. Vendor Analyst is part of the Operations team, responsible for interacting with Business Partners/Top Vendors, Wholesalers & Distributors, MHA Sales Teams and other internal stakeholders to ensure that MHA Members have access to contract pricing based on defined member eligibility criteria. The Sr. Vendor Analyst is the subject matter expert for maintaining Business Partner/Vendor eligibility processes and policies. The position requires the ability to support cross-functional teams and the ability to multi-task multiple tickets and issues. The Sr. Vendor Analyst works under the direction of the Manager, Membership. The Sr. Vendor Analyst works directly with all internal MHA departments as well as with external Business Partners.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • In-Depth knowledge and auditing of Top Vendor Eligibility compared to Midas and Sales data.

  • Develop enhanced reporting to streamline processes

  • Communicating member eligibility and issues to internal stakeholders (Sales Teams, Data, Reconciliation, and Trade Teams).

  • Working with external Business Partners (Vendors/Wholesalers) to resolve member eligibility discrepancies.

  • Proactively reviewing and resolving member eligibility issues working with both internal and external teams.

  • Maintaining Vendor Process documents and SOPs.

  • Adhering to New Vendor Onboarding protocols and maintain Vendor communication standards.

  • Supporting ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.

  • Strategic Project lead

  • Assisting with notification and issue resolution for internal applications.

  • Review and resolve vendor linkage discrepancies from sales and admin fee data

  • Identify and implement procedures as needed to support external and internal business partners

Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:


  • BA/BS required with work experience preferred

  • High attention to detail and follow-up skills with high degree of accuracy and timely manner

  • Ability to efficiently enter data and information into computer application and to validate own work for completeness and accuracy

  • Excellent analytical skills to comprehensively analyze and interpret data in order to apply procedures for processing data and resolving issues

  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely fashion

  • Excellent organization and time management skills with ability to prioritize work and to function independently

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications skills including Excel (Pivot Tables, V-lookup), Word and Outlook

  • Professional demeanor in performing job responsibilities and when interacting with others

  • Attendance and Punctuality with commitment to arrive to work on time and ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent
