**Job Description:**



Leads and/or participates in the design, development, and implementation of Event Management and Monitoring Platforms, consisting of activities involving cross-functional technical support, systems programming and integration capabilities. Associate will help build and maintaining monitoring and management capabilities for the banks production support teams. Proven production support background with development experience delivering on large scale projects with respect for deadlines on deliverables. Ability to scale and maintain monitoring systems in a large scale environment.



REQUIRED:



**Experience/Education** :



+ Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline with overall 7-10 years of experience, with at least 3-5 years in the IT Management field, especially in IT operations management or equivalent work experience

+ Strong process design methodology, preferably using ITIL v3



+ Strong experience in management of Event Management and Monitoring Solutions, across infrastructure, and Applications.

+ Define and implement Event Management strategies

+ Provide Event correlation using topology and stream variables

+ Integrate Third-party event stream management using Platform Connectors

+ Implement customized views for client business services

+ Implement integration between multiple monitoring and visualization products such as: uCMDB, NNMi, OMi, SiteScope, BPM, and Diagnostics



+ Understanding and or Certified in ITIL 3.x Foundational, and capable of aligning day-to-day operations in alignment with ITIL-based solutions.

+ Technical skills including a broad understanding of various technologies, with expertise in a few, examples below

+ Oracle; MS-SQL

+ Web Servers: Apache HTTP; Tomcat Servlet Containers; Microsoft IIS;

+ Operating Systems: RedHat Linux; CentOS; HPUX; Sun Solaris Unix; SCO Unix;

+ Networking Protocols: TCP/IP; RIP; BGP; EIGRP; OSPF; SNMP; Multicast; HSRP; MPLS; STP Spanning Tree; Frame-Relay; ISDN; RS-232; Modem AT Command Sets; ACL lists; Policy Routing; DNS; FTP; TFTP; TELNET; SSH; MIBs; TACACS+; RADIUS; RSA SecureID; VPNs

+ Network Components: Firewalls, Load Balancers, VPNs, VLANs

+ Understanding of ITILv3 (ITILv3 Foundations Certification a plus)

+ SSQL or Oracle user skills, ability to interpret system-level SQL statements used for discovery

+ Understanding of database architectures and protocols, discovered database resources, ODBC and JDBC.

+ J2EE: Understanding of java and J2EE application architectures, EJB, administration consoles, J2EE servers and domains, REST APIs



DESIRED:



+ Expert level hands-on familiarity with monitoring tools including but not limited to BMC TrueSight Operations Manager, HP Operations Management tools, and Remedy, ElasticSearch, Kibana etc

+ Data Lake, Splunk/Logging and other meta data technologies (Hadoop)

+ Proficient knowledge of MS Office products, including Work, Excel and PowerPoint and Visio

+ Experience in managing multiple efforts atsimultaneously.

+ Excellent Communication, Written and Interpersonal Skills

+ Agile, and JIRA Project Management experience.

+ Ability to think creatively and strategically
