**Job Description:**

401(k) Retirement Service Delivery consultant II is responsible for ensuring compliant administration of 401(k) plans. The role requires experience managing complex processes involving multiple service providers; and requires partnering internally in a heavily matrixed environment. The role is based in Charlotte, NC.

Job Description:

+ Partner with multiple suppliers and internal partners (Merrill Lynch Retirement & Personal Wealth solutions, Payroll, Legal, Communications, Finance, and HR Reporting teams) to ensure processes and services are delivered flawlessly to our teammates.

+ Manage multiple vendor relationships, monitor their process controls, identifying and ensuring proper risk mitigation routines are in place and followed.

+ Managing process and technical enhancements, including testing requirements, and implementation of initiatives.

Day to Day responsibilities include:

+ Partner with vendors to resolve participant inquiries; manage small projects and complete detailed data analysis.

+ Partnering across Service Delivery teams to ensure key downstream processes are considered when planning for process enhancements and changes to existing integrations.

+ Partnering across multiple LOB and GHR teams

+ Driving third party service providers to execute day-to-day administration, initiatives, and building controls,

+ Responsible for audit/review and understanding of financial and event transactions

+ Manage and oversee required regulations, and compliance activities.

+ Responsible for providing input and guidance based on expertise relating to full end to end defined contribution administration including understanding of the different compensation plans and how it impacts the deferred compensation plan. Heavy focus on money-in processes associated with the Deferred Compensation plan. This includes managing the annual Deferred Compensation enrollment process from preparing for set up, presenting to senior executives and through first contributions of the new year.

_Enterprise Role Overview_

_Individual Contributor who works on the successful partnership and lead of design, delivery, financial management, communication and/or administration of complex, corporate-Wide HR product(s)/program(s) that may include Compensation, LD, Learning, Payroll, Shared Services or Staffing. May work closely with external vendors. Independently evaluates existing product or program cost, effectiveness and usage, and designs recommended improvements. Has extensive, in-depth knowledge of product functions and can operate independently in handling transactions. Strong client relationship skills used to control and coordinate all aspects of a transaction._

**Required Skills**

+ 3-5 years Benefit Administration experience, or like Human Resources administrative business experience, preferred experience with 401(k) and defined contribution plans

+ Workday Administrator experience

+ Strong data analysis and validation experience

+ Strong oral & written communication skills; ability to articulate complex concepts to a non-specialist audience

+ Ability to assimilate complex data into a results-based story and effectively present the results

+ Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

+ Ability to identify process improvements and document processes / procedures as appropriate

+ Attention to detail, adept in handling quantitative data and ability to identify end to end impacts

+ A team player who thinks and acts cross-functions, proactive and focused on continuous improvement

+ A problem solver with a can do attitude, consultative approach and client service mentality

+ Acts with a sense of urgency and drives issues through completion with a positive attitude

+ Demonstrates a sense of commitment to work and willingly assumes responsibility for accomplishing objectives; is dependable, and conscientiously follows through on commitments

+ Highly organized with ability to drive many competing priorities and multiple tasks concurrently

+ Individual should be self-starter and proficient with Microsoft Office products especially skilled in excel

**Desired Skills**

+ A minimum of three years of related professional experience and/or Bachelors degree is preferred.

+ Non-qualified plan, laws and regulation knowledge

+ User acceptance testing experience, preferably HR related applications.

+ Experience working with outsourced services
