Job Description:

Coordinate the receipt, distribution, and shipment of parcels. Document all procedures and parcels leaving and entering the building.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Receive and sign for all incoming packages and shipments.
  • Prepare all outbound shipments in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Process airborne outgoing shipments according to established guidelines.
  • Reconcile freight invoices in a timely manner. Assure that all paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments is organized.
  • Track all incoming equipment, and ensure each piece is signed for by the customer.
  • Respond to customer calls/requests in a timely manner.
  • Keep up to date on changing client requirements (i.e. moves, new employees) and notify management of any recommendations.
  • May assist with the delivery and pickup of mail, and provide other mailroom services when necessary.

Other Job Functions

  • Adhere to all safety and security guidelines and procedures.
  • Carry out requests of management on a timely basis; and advise management of concerns and changes.

Skills, Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • General working knowledge of the business environment.
  • Previous experience in an office environment preferred.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Good organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and its applications.
  • May perform other duties as assigned
