We are looking for a full-time Senior AOSP/Linux Profiling and Performance Developer for low-to-mid level software on the Automotive OEM Platforms Team at our location in Chandler, AZ. May also perform as Lead Software Engineer for a multitude of projects or sub projects.

We are looking for a full-time Senior software tools, testing, and automation developer who is both visionary and terrific at execution. The ideal candidate will have many of these attributes:

  • You have created Test Strategy and Architecture documents, tying together the purposes of all the types of tests and teams involved in delivering a software product
  • You have deployed test automation systems, whether home grown or off the shelf and seen its benefit to software quality
  • You have successfully automated tests for test scenarios that others said were too hard to automate
  • You know the benefits of static analysis tools, code coverage tools, continuous integration approaches and can deploy them throughout the organization
  • You wear multiple hats comfortably, such as DevOps developer, Tools developer, Test Strategist and Architect, SW developer
  • You love to dream up important edge cases and test scenarios for your software to ensure it works in all circumstances
  • You like to dabble with new technologies, tools and methods

The focus of the position will be to improve the Integration Testing within the Development team. You will do this by growing the test automation system, and by analyzing coverage and adding more tests / test suites to the automation environment. This involves collaboration with others across the worldwide development team and SW Quality team to understand the different areas of focus.



Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math or Physics or a technical field (such as CIS or IT) from a four-year college or university AND a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher. Other requirements include:

  • Must demonstrate proficiency and possess experience necessary to develop moderately complex software in C, C++, and python
  • Demonstrate ability to serve as a lead software engineer for a complex software projectand its associated testing environment
  • Demonstrated capability to critically assess and recommend test suites, testing strategies and tools and deploy them in the development environment
  • Must possess relevant education and/or experience in software design, development, testing, and maintenance, as required for the successful performance of the essential functions of the position
  • Demonstrates mastery of relevant software engineering tools (configuration management systems, build processes, debuggers, emulators, simulators and logic analyzers)
  • Good understanding of existing test suites for testing the Linux and Android kernel, such as: CTS, VTS, LTP
