Ontario Systems has a new and exciting position as aSolutions Consultant (Payments) onour Solutions Consulting team.

Location This position will work remote. Candidate may work where they live anywhere in the United States. This position may also work from any of our office locations in Muncie, Indiana, Vancouver, Washington, Albuquerque, New Mexico or Burlington, Massachusetts.

Visa sponsorship or transfer of an existing visa is not available for this position. Applicants must be authorized to work directly for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship or transfer.

What You'll Do

  • Accompany Sales Executives on site visits and develop demonstrations and agendas customized for the client or prospect, matching the client/prospects needs with applicable solution features, benefits, value, and client success stories.
  • Create outlines and scripts and standardized demonstration setups, to assist the Sales team in delivering high-level demonstrations designed to generate interest in company products, ensuring their knowledge through tests and mock demonstrations.
  • Assist sales team in the client needs assessment process and recommend appropriate product and service solutions.
  • Develop revenue opportunities for additional value-addedservices.
  • Consult with Sales Executives and other Solution Consultants on client needs and sales opportunities including:
    • Product upgrades
    • New product offers
    • Professional services
    • Managed services
  • Prepare presentations and documents and train internal and external audiences on company solutions.
  • Act as aresource for RFPs and RFIs
  • Write and present technical proposals and documents including network diagrams, configuration summaries, etc. as needed.
  • Assist in the creation and development of technical collateral for the Sales team.
  • Serve as a liaison between Sales and Product Management.
  • Prepare a variety of scope documents, proposals, follow-up, and activity documents.
  • Maintain an understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets.
  • Research and review technology and industry publications, websites, etc. to maintain a solid understanding of current technologies and trends.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degreeor equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 4years related experience or education in first party and/or third-partyreceivables , andpayments industry,management and/or implementing, consulting, and trainingrelativeenterprise software solutions.
  • Experience supporting complex software systems is beneficial.Customer service and/or Salesbackground in a similar field preferred.
  • T akes broad requirements and can translate into specific actions or tasks.
  • Responsible for simultaneous, multiple sales solution consulting projects involving multiple products.
  • Expertise with company products at the technical foundation, being able to read and interpret at the "code" or tool level (routines, global, etc.).
  • Understanding and knowledge of tools and deliverables used in sales and solution consulting processes.
  • Demonstrateslevel of expertise of product solution consulting competencies including risk analysis and mitigation, root cause analysis, technical solution delivery.
  • Understanding of technologies and processes used and the impact of each technology on business operations.
  • Understanding of the accounts receivable and collections, andpayments industries and how company products meet industry needs.
  • Competent influencing skills:shares viewpoints with confidence Proactivelyengages with others to influence through the exchange of information and opinions.
  • Interfaces with appropriate process owners, users, subject matter experts, and functional management.
  • Proactively advocates client's needs and initiate'saction.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications and organizational skills with ability to express the most technical level of a problem and other complex, technical idea in common, understandable terms.
  • Ability to recognize and alter communication style to accommodate various audiences.
  • Ability to identify individual styles and adjust personal style to effectively work with individuals of different styles.
  • Able to understand who the stakeholders and decision-makers are in a variety of situations.
  • Actively gaining market feedback from client base and communicating that to product management
