Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking a Customer Service Specialist in Fort Mill, SC.

The primary goals of the Customer Service Specialist are to perform a variety of activities to support the Sales team ranging from required customer analyses to pricing implementation and communication. This position will also be responsible for the dissemination of information both internally and externally regarding customer performance, including credits and rebates issued.

  • C reation and distribution of customized sales reports to internal and external customers
  • Analyze customer sales performance compared to budget
  • Customer Setup and maintenance
  • Customer Price sheet creation and maintenance
  • Issuance of all approved customer credits and debits
  • Processing of approved customer discrepancies
  • Creation and maintenance confidential Customer Terms and Conditions
  • Analyze Customer fill rates and delivery performance
  • Forecast analysis in comparison to actual orders placed
  • Reconcile and maintain sales figures for warranty credits, co-op and all other customer rebates (monthly, quarterly, and annual rebates)
  • Business System price updates
  • Sales Forecasting system updates (BPS Planning Tool)
  • Communicate and correspond with customers in a clear and professional manner
  • Analyze and respond to customer inquiries, requests, forecasts, etcas appropriate
  • Establish and Maintain Customer Master data, including pricing.
  • Calculate sales rep agency commissions; submit monthly statements

Qualified applicants will have:

  • Minimum 3 Years related experience preferred
  • Four year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong MS Office proficiency; particularly Excel
  • Ability to interface effectively with other departments in a professional manner
  • Ability to multi-task with accuracy and effectiveness
