Reporting to the lead of the Global / US Analytics & Information Management team, the Sr. Analyst, Business Intelligence / Analytics and Information Management will work closely together with various internal business and IT stakeholders on global, regional and local level across Marketing, Market Insights, Patient Services, Market Access and IT.

This role will provide analytic support for all Commercial products for Global and US, including BI reporting such as dashboards, ad-hoc analyses and data discovery. This role will understand business intelligence, analytics and data warehousing and their application to solve business problems.

This role will interact regularly with internal or external business clients to capture and understand analytics, reporting and report data service requests, will help define and clarify requirements, and define and propose appropriate solutions. They will perform quality review of developed solutions and ensure proper user acceptance.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the production Business Intelligence products and solutions, including resolving production issues and responding quickly to priority problems
  • Analyze reporting service requests and define technical specifications for efficient development
  • Work with other AIM team members in maintaining reporting standards and protocols
  • Analyze data and data requirements regarding reporting solutions, ensure data quality and match-back to core systems transaction results.
  • Maintain documentation of reporting solutions, data mapping, data dictionary, and reporting standards
  • Coordinate end user review and acceptance of the developed solutions
  • Support ad-hoc analyses
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Analytical experience in a healthcare company (pharmaceutical or biotech) or supporting organization
  • Experience with industry leading BI tools (Tableau, Clik, etc)
  • Working experience with end user Report design, development and implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to drive to deadlines, balancing multiple priorities, and ensuring quality standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills with strong ability to multi-task and shift focus as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • 2 years in Analytics, 1 years developing reporting or technical solutions (warehouses, SSIS, stored procedures, marts, reports)
  • Experience in roles where multi-level staff or client interaction is required
