Description **Job Description:**

Provides L3 application support for the primary ATM Client Application and other software running on Bank of America ATMs.

Triage – all activities required to properly determine root cause and identify a corrective action or fix requirement that is allocated to the proper development team, monitoring team or vendor. Could be for a live incident or a recurring problem. May include log analysis, code review, data analysis and attempting to reproduce in lower level environment.

Operational Support – Will be requested by upstream applications or platform/infrastructure providers to coordinate post-production validation activity. Will support scheduled jobs, production exception requests and change requests (CRQ) that have to be raised in order to deliver any non-code related BAU change (such as change in job schedule or a configuration change executed by middleware or SA teams to address production problems).

Ad-hoc reporting – reports that are delivered without updating application code – a query we run at the request of some business partner in one of our application databases; may be recurring on a temporary basis. This is specific to application databases and/or Splunk logs from our applications, it would not generally include most reporting databases that LOB reporting teams or L2 operations typically write reports against (e.g. The W, BACARDI, Hadoop)

**Required skills:**

Software development and support experience, doing programming of desktop applications in C++ and/or C#. Experience providing L3 application support, including incident and problem analysis and triage, software debugging using log files and source code and operational support experience such as managing and optimizing batch process schedules. **Desired skills:** Splunk
