**Job Description:**



Business Finance Control of Central Funding Desk/Structure Notes. The team owns P&L, Balance Sheet Control and Reporting, and Independent Valuation responsibilities for the CFD desk within CPM. The desk's primary focus is on issuance of Structured Notes, Daily PL & balance sheet oversights and reconciliation; New deal and significant deal review; Review and approval of changes to the valuation adjustment; Month end close, including Financial Disclosures and calculation and recording of netting entries; Managing key accounting, legal entity, regulatory and PL issues with the business, etc.



Focus on process improvement of current processes is imperative in this role.



Areas of responsibility include



+ Financial reporting and disclosures

+ General ledger close and reconciliations

+ Management reporting and analysis

+ Regulatory capital disclosures

+ Price Testing

+ Sector analysis

+ Stress Test and Forecasting



Process analysis, documentation of policies and procedures and evidencing of results are also of primary importance in this role. Trading desk support, including interpretation of accounting policies and ad hoc reporting, is another critical requirement. Throughout the tenure of the role, the teammate should gain exposure and acumen in the Global Markets/FICC area of the organization and develop or improve the following skills: GAAP (with a focus on Fixed Income), Management and Regulatory/SEC reporting, as well as written and oral communication skills.



**Required Skills**



+ Bachelor Degree required - Accounting/Finance preferred

+ 3-10 years financial industry/banking experience

+ Strong financial analytics experience

+ Advanced experience/skills with Excel and complex spreadsheets

+ Candidate must be able to work both independently and as team member

+ Strong communication and presentation skills

+ Strong problem solving and analytical abilities



_Responsible for balance sheet, general ledger and/or product controls specific to a defined area or defined process. Understands the market and the market drivers of the product they are supporting. Understands more complex structured transactions and the operational risks around the end to end product lifecycle. Implements improvements to the system infrastructure and control environment. Provides general team guidance on complex transactions. May provide input to recruiting and hiring and performance management processes. BA preferred or substantially equivalent experience._
