Job Description: Client Service Solutions, Hedge Fund Services, Northern Trust

Role:

The HFS Client Service Solutions (CSS) team is focused on enhancing the client experience. In this role, a CSS team member will be aligned to specific client relationships to facilitate cross team coordination for daily and monthly operational deliverables across HFS.

The partner will be responsible for ensuring client deliverables are met and that service is always delivered at the highest level. CSS is responsible for ensuring the best possible client experience by owning and optimizing the delivery of Middle Office and Operational services to clients, tracking and reporting key tasks, and being a primary point of contact and trusted NT resource who advocates for clients within the Bank. In addition to its focus on partnering directly with clients, this role will also enhance the overall HFS operating model internally, as it provides a dedicated partner to work with the various functional areas and the relationship manager to ensure that the day to day production processes and workflows run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with Operational Partners in producing daily/weekly/monthly deliverable control checklists and ensure all targets and deadlines are met.

Track bespoke deliverables across middle office teams for daily and month end workflows, including break resolution.

Maintain Client Service levels by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information and work products.

Be proactive in communication with Clients, providing suggestions for operational efficiencies, process improvements, and improvements to client experience or reductions in costs.

Develop a detailed understanding of client's downstream processes and dependencies on HFS deliverables.

Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment which encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication and overall excellent Client Servicing.

Actively participate in client on-site visits.

Provide input to CSDM & agreed monthly workflow handoff to Backoffice team.

Manage client issues ensuring appropriate resolution, including regular liaison with Relationship Managers and other Operational Managers to provide seamless service.

Escalate items to functional team leaders, Manager, CSDM or Relationship Manager as appropriate.

Manage Projects for key Clients.

Execution of periodic and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by HFS Management.
