PRIMARY PURPOSE:



Under minimal direction, the Sr. Director of Analytics works closely with executive management, finance, business analysts and national accounts to effectively manage and communicate all analytics, vendor contract, pricing, and IT project requirements. Serves as the principal point of contact with internal and external IT partners. They are responsible for leading the analytics team, to include oversight over all financial, vendor and customer reporting. The Sr. Director of Analytics will provide regular reporting to the executive team regarding key performance metrics and provide insights on overall performance. They will also be responsible for the implementation of key strategic initiatives related to EDI, ERP and other information technology related projects and platforms.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management.

  • Assures quality customer service to all customers.

  • Maintains good attendance and punctuality per the absence policy.

  • Provides effective leadership to achieve high levels of service and product quality, financial results, and other criteria in accordance with policies, goals, and objectives.

  • Assists with coordination of workflow, training, and mentoring of support staff, as required.

  • Drives the analytics and reporting strategies of the organization and works closely with the executive team to improve service offerings for clients and manufacturing partners. Gathers, analyzes and summarizes forecasting and operational data and makes recommendations to the executive team based on assessments.

  • Creates the foundational data and business intelligence tools strategies for the organization, leading to effective and informative analytics. Translates and interprets data trends and provides insights on performance to the executive team.

  • Manages a cross-functional team of analysts to ensure all reporting and project requirements are met. Acts as a primary liaison to internal and external partners in IT. Ensures all data warehouse structures and systems are performing effectively. Utilizes tools such as SQL, BI tools, Salesforce and other platforms to drive reporting to both internal and external customers.

  • Oversees the development of operational and financial dashboards for review by the executive team. Drives the design, creation and implementation of reports crucial to contractual requirements.

  • Leads IT projects and develops project requirements as they pertain to system and software application needs. Ensures all data mapping and data repositories are within scope and meet the needs of the organization. Meets project timelines and escalates any potential issues or delays to executive team.

  • Responsible for the planning, implementation, and realization of analytics team goals and initiatives.

  • Remains abreast of changes and developments in the industry and provides direction to implement required changes. Establishes and maintains a network of professional relationships.

  • Performs all other duties, at the discretion of management, as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS:



Knowledge/Education



  • Bachelors degree required.

  • Masters degree preferred.

  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of operational analytics and finance including: business management, financial management forecasting, and business intelligence reporting required.

Licenses/ Certifications



None.



Experience



  • Ten years related experience required. Experience in the biological, pharmaceutical, or plasma industry preferred. To include:
    • Five years at a management level.

  • Ability to think strategically, synthesizes complex business and financial data, and develops innovative solutions.

  • Able to organize, prioritize, and execute a variable workload and multiple priorities.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and participate as an active member of management.

  • Must have proficient computer skills.
