Responsible for the daily loan funding process which includes monitoring client warehouse balances, reviewing loan wire amount and pricing of loans to accommodate earliest possible release of wires. Ensures loan documents are accurate and are in accordance with specific requirements and programs. Responsible for validating all information on all forms are in accordance with Bank and lending regulations. Provides final validation and approval of loan documents and requests wires out to closing agents. Performs all duties in accordance with the companys policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.


1. Review incoming warehouse loan data file, loan documents and wire instructions for accuracy. Verifies all underwriting and doc conditions have been satisfied.
2. Review pricing of loans and disbursement amount requested; make necessary corrections if needed to ensure minimal risk exposures for Sellers advances.
3. Review and validate due diligence certification, note custodian certification and servicing tape for bulk loan funding.
4. Prepare additional funding wires, margin withdrawal requests and input wires in WireXchange.
5. Perform loan settlement process as needed.
6. Train new staff on basic funding and shipping concepts.
7. Resolve funding and collateral shipping issues that arise in the course of the day. Assist with collateral shipping and confirming Deed of Trust/Mortgage recordation as needed.
8. Monitor the aging report and follow up with clients on the loan status. Prepare client loan curtailment schedule accordingly.
9. Train new mortgage bankers clients on the warehouse lending operational workflow and how to use the warehouse loan system

  • Advanced knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and other Bank lending policies.

  • Advanced knowledge of title policies and related loan regulations such as RESPA, HMDA and other Bank lending policies on loans to directors.
    • Effective organizational and time management skills.

    • Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

    • Intermediate typing skills to meet production needs of the position.

    • Intermediate math skills; calculate interest and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.

    • Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to customers and employees.

    • Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters, and/or conduct routine oral communication.

    • Ability to work with general supervision while performing duties.


    • High School Diploma and a minimum of 6 years related work experience and/or training.Work related experience should consist of a credit or loan processing background.

    • Bachelors Degree preferred.
