As the Senior Manager, Internal Communications you are responsible for developing and executing a fully integrated internal communications strategy, ensuring communications align with the most critical company decisions, priorities, and announcements. You will work with company Executives, lead a team of specialists, and drive communications from concept to execution across the company that deliver on a standard of excellence and consistency.


Build,manage, and developastrongteam of internal communication Partners.

Build principles and standards for all internal communication.

Establish protocols, tools,and templates that support communication objectives, are used regularly to build familiarity with employees, and set expectations on what kind of information will be shared, in what channels, and by whom.

Develop andexecute a corporate-wide communicationsstrategy that focuses on sharingthe company's strategy, most critical plans, priorities, and announcements.

Create a company-wide internal communication framework and calendar that identifies the right channels and methods for in-scope communication.

Develop issue-specific company communication plans and content that are complex and global, including large-scale organizational changes that impact multiple divisions, functions, and regions.

Ensure Internal Communications Partners are customizing corporate-level communication for their divisions and creating division-level communication that aligns across the company.

Developa deep understanding of business objectivesin order totie communicationwork directly to desired business outcomes. Prioritize Internal Communications work based on highest value to company performance.

Create a complimentary outside-in capability and approach that focuses specifically on how Bose shows-up in the world, from owned campaigns, to customer reviews, and editorial coverage.

Identifyemergingissues and challenges both internallyand externally.Recommend methods and messaging to adjust or add new, relevant content to existing plans in order to share with employees in real-time.

Managethe creation and execution of crisis plans that support employees.

Createcommunication KPIsfor the IC function thatmeasureimpact on business objectives.

Stay current on industry trends, sharing information and best practicesto keep Internal Communicationsmodern and effective.


Acollege degree or an advanced degree in communications,10+yearsof experiencein an internal communications capacity in a corporate setting, along with5+years of demonstrated leadership managing a team.

Aproven communicator with exceptional writing and editing skills.

Strong program management and organizational capabilities.

Demonstrated ability to build a function, and create a comprehensive framework, foundation, and supporting processes.

Experience working with senior executives and key stakeholders across an organization.

Experience developing and generatinginternal communications plans that apply creative tactics using a wide variety of integrated communication channels including digital, video and print.

Comfortable with change. Ability to adapt and thrive ina complexenvironment.

Accreditation or certification in communications and/or change management is a plus.
