POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Manager, Payer Access Marketing is a highly entrepreneurial role that will require a significant degree of stakeholder alignment management and engagement with to include both internal business partners and external customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support the Optimization of the brand vision implementing within the context of agreed commercial strategies to maximize long term sales and profitability, while constantly seeking new opportunities to evolve the brand to the next level.
  • Utilize market research and other sources to develop in-depth insights and understanding of the disease, the patient journey, the physician/patient relationship, managed markets/reimbursement and the brand.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of annual commercial operating plans and quarterly business review updates related to managed markets and other related commercial initiatives.
  • Effectively collaborate with external agencies and cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of planned strategies and tactics through excellent execution in alignment with Indivior guiding principles, compliance standards, and financial parameters.
  • Fully support department needs in the development of executive level business review presentations and annual plan presentations.
  • Engage sales leadership and training with insights into the brand plan to ensure full support and integration, including workshop development, POA planning, initial sales and field area reimbursement manager training, and monthly sales leadership meetings.
  • Responsible and accountable for managing assigned budget, including related financial activities such as PO generation and invoicing.
  • Gains insights and perspectives through strong external customer interaction, primary and secondary market research, and field organization.
  • Project management activities related to Promotional Review Committee, Co Pay, and HUB programs
  • Ensure close alignment between insights into health system evidence needs, plans.) to support value proposition and pricing strategy.
  • Develop and cultivate sustainable business relationships with key functions responsible for value proposition enablement
  • Travel to meet with business partners as appropriate. Attend industry symposiums, conferences, and trade shows as directed and ensure communication pull through with internal teams

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • BS/BA degree from a four-year accredited university or college, MBA preferred.

Experience:

  • 5 years of demonstrated experience and proven success in healthcare or biotech/pharmaceutical industries having worked in Trade Relations, Category Management, Managed Care, Marketing, National Accounts or similar environments.
  • Experience in contracting with vendors and establishing scope of work, business rules and standard operating procedures.
  • Understanding of project management activities and project planning/reporting.

COMPETENCIES/CONDUCT:

In addition to the minimum qualifications, the employee will demonstrate:

  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • High level of personal accountability and sense of urgency. May need to be available off hours for occasional emergency issues.
  • Travel: Must be able to travel approximately 25%; some overnights required
  • Customer focused. Ability to develop relationships, deliver presentations, and diplomatically resolve issues.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with all levels of management.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and participate in multi-functional project teams
