Danas Corporate Human Resources department is currently looking for a Senior Organizational Development Specialist to work in our Talent Development group. The selected individual would work closely with the Manager, Talent Development and Senior Manager, L&D to roll out key departmental initiatives including performance management, succession management, the Companys engagement survey, and would assist in implementing a Learning Management System (LMS).

The person assuming this role must be able to work independently on key initiatives and interact throughout the Dana functions / businesses. Multitasking, organization, strong human resources information skills (HRIS), and an ability to efficiently complete work tasks are critical for being successful in this role.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities of Position:

  • Assists with implementation of a LMS works closely with HR Analytics Team to plan and execute the LMS components and integrate the system into Dana

  • Manages technical component of Talent Developments Sharepoint site and LMS; ensures data repository in place that identifies key initiatives, stores documents; manages user access and interface; develops tools to enhance the employee experience

  • Works closely with Learning and Development on key training initiatives and assists with rollouts and train the trainers as appropriate; actively participates in training initiatives as lead or support trainer

  • Supports the rollout of key departmental initiatives including Danas performance management process, succession management process, engagement survey process and the various learning and development initiatives throughout the year

  • Manages the Dana SkillPort site; coordinates with vendor to refresh course openings, tracks employee usage, communicates opportunities to organization, and integrates into LMS

  • Manage Career Compass site; identifies proactive communication of site tools and content to allow for increased employee / manager usage

  • Works closely with Talent Acquisition group on University Relations initiatives

  • Manages data repository on mentoring and coaching programs

Minimum Qualifications of Position:

  • Proven technical capability with Human Resource Information Systems and Processes; ability to work efficiently and effectively manage systems and create / improve user interface experiences

  • Delivering integrated solutions that support the operational direction of the business and develop a game plan for success.

  • Developing and implementing goals, work well during times of transition and can help others adjust to change.
  • Proven project management skills (including initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing work to achieve specific goals and success criteria and the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities).

  • Developing and delivering effective written and oral communication that conveys a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Demonstrating advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, performance and succession management platforms, and training and development tools

  • Ability to conduct face to face training on wide variety of HR subjects

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Organization Development, Human Resources or business-related field with proven experience in previous HR generalist or business positions

  • Proven experience in leading or supporting HR processes

  • Experience working in a multi-national and globally matrixed organization

  • HR operational experience, including time in the HR function within a plant or corporate environment, with emphasis on manufacturing companies

  • Ability to interact at all levels of the organization, with emphasis on senior management from a variety of functional groups

  • Ability to travel periodically, both domestically and internationally
