During assignment you will oversee the development, implementation and managing of the continuous improvement efforts for Grape to Bottle strategic initiative (All production areas and support groups). Additionally, you will drive the facilitation of workshops with cross functional teams to understand and document current business and system processes and develop the to-be business and systems blueprint. You will directly coaches all levels of the organization (vice president to hourly team members) on how to implement lean manufacturing practices and philosophies into their daily duties by leveraging past management and organizational improvement experience.



What you will do:



  • Leads high-performance project teams in the discovery process to best identify business improvement opportunities and defining customer critical requirements.

  • Communicates and presents organization recommendations, status updates and progress on continuous improvement efforts and departmental action plans.

  • Functions as a liaison with outside departments and organizations to insure balance of cost, quality, and service while implementing lean principles.

  • Develops and implements recommendations to change systems, policies, and procedures; ensures timely and accurate implementation. Ensures compliance with the organization's policies and procedures.

  • Provides needed oversight and training in the area of lean enterprise philosophy, tools and techniques and other continuous improvement practices.

  • Identifies waste reduction opportunities and long-term improvement opportunities.

  • Develops, manages, and coordinates the Grape to Bottle Kaizen Calendar.

What you need:



  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, MIS, Mathematics, or Engineering plus 10 years of business systems analysis, corporate finance, lean six sigma or supply chain management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

  • E. & J. Gallo Winery experience.

  • Experience with MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint at an intermediate level.

  • Required to possess demonstrated process/continuous improvement experience (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and TQM) on a departmental or organizational level.

  • Required to possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Required to possess demonstrated team building, leadership and mentoring skills and experience.

What will set you apart:



  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Engineering plus 12 years of end to end project management experience reflecting increasing levels or responsibility.

  • Masters degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
