The Sr. Talent Development Specialist will be for responsible for the design and development of instructor-led content and online continuous improvement certification campaigns, that adhere to adult learning principles, produce measurable results, and support the acquisition of new knowledge or skills. This role will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to assess instructional design needs and propose recommendations that support SVB's continuous improvement culture and employee development strategy.

Essential Functions:

Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer.

Consult with Learning Solution Managers, Media Specialists, business SMEs and other team members on the design and development of learning solutions.

Use technology effectively to support design and development of sustainable learning solution design.

Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts and compile presentations to summarize findings/recommendations.

Build organizational capability through strong relationships with internal clients and team members.

Leverage appropriate multi-media development, ensuring solutions are scalable and sustainable.

Identify appropriate interactive media to support content delivery, optimized for virtual and online delivery.

Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts and compile presentations to summarize findings/recommendations.

Appropriate multi-media development, ensuring solutions are scalable and sustainable.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of Training and Development, Adult Education, Multi-media design and graphic
  • BA/BS required. Instructional Technology, Multi-Media Development, Business, Adult Learning or related field
  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills
  • Adult learning facilitation skills
  • Basic knowledge of online learning tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Storyline
  • Visual design skills and ability to storyboard
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models

  • Adult learning facilitation skills
  • Basic knowledge of online learning tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Storyline
