Responsibilities

Work Description: The individual selected for this position will support the Sponsor's Program Management Office responsible for oversight and secure use of the internet. This includes providing

acquisition guidance and strategy that will support organizational needs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide technical, consultative, facilitative, administrative support to the Sponsor components governance process and boards
  • Manage technical exchange meetings, support ongoing collection and analysis/triage of requirements
  • Communicate internet deconfliction way forward to stakeholders and Board applicants
  • Assist in the creation and coordination processes of all boards through maintenance of policies, decision-making structures, charters, etc.
  • Track and manage Action Items, minutes, generating quarterly/yearly reports, as required.
  • Defining and capturing requirements by interacting with stakeholders and subsequently conducting independent research and analysis of information in preparation for meetings; seeking information from personnel within the supported principals organization or appropriate external stakeholders to provide background information the principal will require for meetings and other engagements. Follow-up to ensure material is read for review in advance of meeting
  • Create and maintain Sponsors content for branding/messaging of board and governance activities. Update, maintain, and operate information sites/website wherever content is hosted.
  • Planning and coordinating program management process activities and leveraging experience to recommend streamlined and efficient business process, to include developing standard operating procedures and associated documentation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with poly clearance required
  • Working knowledge of Sponsors mission and other stakeholders missions
  • Process oriented, conceptually driven, and possess the ability to work collaboratively in a highly technical setting
  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience coordinating and working action items to completion
  • Organizational, collaboration, negotiation and interpersonal skills to effectively complete tasks
  • Proven ability to multi-task; self-starter
  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience exhibiting oral and written communication skills to include giving briefings/presentation, planning and facilitating meetings and providing support for technical documentation
  • Critical thinking skills sufficient to make sound and timely recommendations and/or decisions in unique situations, considering alternate actions
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Minimum 12 years experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years experience, plus 3+ years of supporting the Sponsor
