Talent Acquisition Specialist - Non-Exempt

Moog is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to recruit primarily for hourly production positions (Assembly Techs, Maintenance Techs, Mechanics, Shipping/Receiving Clerks, etc.) as well as some exempt level professional positions. In this role, you will be the site's go-to specialist for recruiting to support the significant hiring needs for production/manufacturing roles at the site. This position is located at our fastest growing operation in Blacksburg, VA.

Here's what you will be doing day-to-day:
- Partner with hiring managers to accurately define position requirements and develop an effective sourcing strategy
- Compose and post job ads
- Partner with technical vocation schools and represent Moog at job fairs
- Use creativity and resourcefulness to proactively source candidates
- Conduct phone screens to qualify and present candidates to the hiring teams
- Prepare and extend offers
- Maintain data integrity in the Applicant Tracking System (Taleo)
- Communicate with hiring teams throughout the recruitment process
Basic (Minimum) requirements include: - Associates' Degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years of full cycle recruiting experience
- Due to federal contract obligations, must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
- Experience as a Corporate (in-house) Recruiter
Preferred qualifications include: - Prefer experience recruiting for nonexempt (hourly) skilled positions in Manufacturing (Assembly Techs, Maintenance Techs, Inspection Techs, etc.) or hourly skilled trade positions in other industries
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- Experience managing a requisition load of 30+ open positions
- 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience preferred
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Taleo is helpful)
- Demonstrated success creatively sourcing hard to find skilled trade hourly candidates
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with hiring managers; ability to influence in a collaborative work environment
- Experience with OFCCP hiring policies and guidelines
- Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
- Strong organizational skills; detail oriented; ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks in a fast paced environment
