**Job Description:**



Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions in the Wholesale Banking Client Data space. This includes core Party Data, Account Data, Sales Data, Market Data, and AML Data. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. May have responsibility for a project and project budget. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants. Typically requires 5-7 years of experience.



**Job Description:**



We are seeking a seasoned application manager who will be accountable for managing and facilitating the full portfolio of application data/information and ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the technology platform meet compliance and service level objectives for one or more applications.



Your duties as an Application Manager include (but are not limited to) application access reviews, GIS security remediation, audits, software license management required by applications, not permitted technology remediation and support/facilitation of recovery planning and tests.



**Responsibilities:**



+ Accountable for managing applications in compliance with applicable bank policies and standards and meet the objectives and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) required of the function it supports.

+ Work with a team to ensure that activities are completed on time and per standards.

+ Activities such as remediation, which may require the Application Manager to act as Project Manager depending on scope/magnitude of effort

+ Act as subject matter expert on questions about technology used within the application and development activities.

+ As Application Subject Matter Expert and technical contact, you will assist with technology incident resolution by providing technical details, usage, dependencies and lead recovery if necessary

+ Responsible for the relationship management of a client/business area in all information technology activities interfacing directly with LOB and Technology partners.

**Minimum Qualifications**



+ Fluency and strong technical skills Java, Oracle 12c Exadata, Autosys prefer experience managing large scale batch environment 1000+ jobs

+ Prior experience managing application risk including access management, data lineage, software change management, audit compliance, and disaster recovery

+ 5-7 years of programming experience

+ 7-10 years application management experience in a full-stack environment including major batch operations and middleware/front-end integration

+ 7-10 years in client data SME experience including core client data, account data, market data, sales data and AML data.

+ Prior experience working with SDLC lifecycle

+ Successful work history partnering with stakeholders and partners in application development process.

+ Prior experience as a Application Manager

+ Familiarity with Agile methodology
