Rosemount Measurement & Analytical, a business unit of Emerson Automation Solutions, is currently seeking an Technical Sales Representative.
Rosemount is a signature brand of Emerson, offering a comprehensive line of measurement instrumentation, analyzers and systems which are used in a wide range of applications found in critical processing facilities such as refineries, chemical plants, power plants, pipelines, and more.
Description

We are looking for a Technical Sales Professional to serveMidstream Gas Processing plant OEM, refining end users, Midstream end users,All customer segments in the Tulsa, OK territory including North Central andEastern Oklahoma. Experience in the Natural Gas Processing Industry is ideal.

Responsibilities

The primary objective ofthis position is to meet or exceed order bookings and business objectiveswithin the assigned territory and accounts.

MAJOR DUTIES/

Obtain maximum order bookings fromassigned territory and assure communication with others on an ongoing basis.

  • Developand grow a full territory account load

  • Sellall product lines within assigned territory

  • Ensurethat time/territory management skills are used

  • Prioritizeall accounts relative to business potential

  • Maximizedirect sales time in front of customer

  • Pursueproduct emphasis goals in relation with division objectives

  • Protectand expand base business

  • Surveyterritory on periodic basis and determine primary accounts in targeted industry

  • Displacecompetitors while maintaining position in existing accounts

  • Writeterritory account plan at start of each fiscal year

  • Pursuenew customers as part of territory account planning

  • Pursueand win major project business

  • Identifyand scope out capital projects, expansions, retrofits, etc. and provideleadership for all major products

  • Harnessand effectively utilize necessary support and management resources to ensuresuccess

  • Updateand communicate specific sales action plans to ensure success with all productlines

  • Ensurethat project database is updated as directed

  • Proactivelycommunicate opportunities across all sales channels

  • Promoteand sell the company image and "Total Value"

  • Identifyleads for Emerson initiatives

  • Assistin the development of technical seminars, Lunch and Learns, major customerproduct presentations, and participate in

  • localtrade shows and professional societies

  • Introduceand promote new products

  • Utilizelocal mailings, handouts, brochures and catalogs

  • Activelypursue professional sales development and technical competence

  • Perform other duties as assigned



Requirements

Education:

4-year technical degreerelated to company product or industry

Experience:
3 years of related experience
