OBIX is looking for a Technical Service Representative to join our team!

As the Technical Service Representative you will be involved in the day to day operations of the technical support of OBIX system; identifying and resolving technical issues in a timely and appropriate manner.

General responsibilities:
This position description contains the general duties considered necessary to outline the principal
functions of the job and shall not be construed as inclusive of all work requirements which may
be inherent to successful performance.

  • Performs remote and on-site OBIX system installations, upgrades, updates, patches, and service on CCSI systems in accordance with QSR guidelines and established policies and procedures.
  • Assist customers in the proper configuration, set-up, and configuration of CCSI products to ensure they meet or conform to CCSIs products technical requirements.
  • Performs on-site Clinical Education support or project Go Live support and leads on-site or remote project planning meetings as primary project technical resource.
  • Completes and submits all assigned administrative tasks in a timely manner to meet all business objectives that include Case ticketing, CRM updates, Training, System Build and Testing Documentation, expense reporting and time sheet recordings.
  • May be required to provide direction, instruction and guidance to other Technical Service Representatives
  • Properly maintains all company issued material and protects from misuse or misplacement and respects the confidentiality of the material.
  • Establishes and maintains professional cross functional relationships in order to promote teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Support for server OS such as Windows 2008/2012/2016
  • Support for client OS such as Windows 7/10
  • Current knowledge with HL7 v2.3 & higher
  • Current knowledge with Microsoft SQL 2005/2008/2012
  • Current knowledge with PostgreSQL

What we are looking for:

  • Associate degree (A.A.) in a technical field or equivalent from two-year college or technical school;
  • 3 - 6 years related industry or OBIX experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with and troubleshooting Microsoft Server 2008/2012/2016 and Microsoft Windows 7/10 platforms, Microsoft Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, HL7, Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, configuring and maintaining anti-virus software, Windows Updates, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able and willing to travel, 30%-70% expected amount of travel as necessary.
  • Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and passport.
  • This job requires that the employee is capable to carry and lift computer equipment weighing in excess of 50 lbs. and must be capable of hearing audible alarms emitted by the CCSI system.
