Job Description:



  • Day to day activities are determined and monitored by end customers and typically include:

  • Maintain Nokia IMS/SDM Products in Customers network.

  • Perform frequent audits of lab nodes and take appropriate actions to ensure all systems/nodes are operational.

  • Support Verizon networks Nokia OneAAA/SDM solutions

  • Participate in 24/7 emergency On-call support, providing proactive maintenance service support and delivery, and supporting change management service delivery.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issue in Customers network environment.

  • Testing new Features in Lab, Performing ATP and regression testing for Hotfixes and both firmware and software upgrades.

  • Open tickets with the appropriate Nokia CAREs and engineering teams; work with the Nokia personnel on ticket follow up and closure

  • Collect Traces, Logs, and Data from Nokia IMS/SDM equipment in support of testing and issue investigation

  • Work with the appropriate Nokia personnel on all issues related to SW installation, configuration, integration and ATP.

  • Research and provide Technical Answers to customers questions on Nokia IMS/SDM products.

  • Provide daily and weekly status updates of deliverables, open issues, issues resolved, accomplishments, and challenges.

  • Participate in pilot and roll-out upgrades and patch installations; new technology support and service deployment;

  • Share technical information and provide competence transfer;

  • Ensure quality customer satisfaction survey targets are met;



Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

  • Strong technical knowledge of Nokia OneAAA, PCRF, Technical knowledge of Nokia One-NDS, NT-HLR, HSS (CMS82000), Provisioning Gateways.

  • Experience on Commissioning, Installation, Integration, and Acceptance testing of Nokia OneAAA and SDM solution

  • Knowledge in network technologies and protocols including SS7, Sigtran, TCP/IP, Routing/Switching, Network Security, Network Management, DNS, Radius, LDAP, MAP, Diameter Policy Control and Charging

  • Knowledge and experience working on Solaris, Linux and Windows operating systems.

  • Knowledge on Scripting, Shell, Perl, Python, etc

  • Troubleshooting skills on IP networking, Unix or Linux.

  • Knowledge on Cloud, Virtualization, OpenStack

  • Aware of Nokia Helpdesk processes and tools.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Professional and Results Oriented
