Responsibilities

Provides technical writing support for a large Systems Engineering Program Management Office (PMO). Responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of Program Monthly Reviews (PowerPoint), Monthly Status Reports (MS Word), Semi-annual Award Fees (MS Word) and other process/policy documentation as requested. As needed, provide reach-back support to assist in producing technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. Create implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities and formats technical publications from pamphlets/flyers, brochures, newsletters, technical drawings, and consultations with technical personnel and other available resources.


Qualifications

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

  • Six years of experience in technical writing and a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Four years of additional technical writing experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent written communications skills.
  • Experience with multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio etc.
  • Coordinate layout and design of documents.
  • Ability to work within an Agile team setting to complete assigned tasks within expected schedule to complete
  • Flexible/easily adaptable within a dynamic work environment that may require surge efforts
  • Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

  • Experience with navigating SharePoint and utilizing SharePoint Document Libraries
  • Knowledge and experience with Atlassianss Jira and Confluence
  • Knowledge of systems engineering documentation end-to-end to include, but not limited to, DoDAF architecture products, CONOPS, ICDs, capabilities documents, test plans, software design documentation, requirements specifications, design specifications, etc.
  • Strong oral and interpersonal communications skills
