Primary Purpose

THE LIST Correspondents primary responsibilities include pitching, writing, producing and on-air talent for segments that target our key demo of women 18-44. They will oversee all aspects of video production in the field including interviews and demonstrations with experts to ensure all content is created by deadlines in an entertaining and informative way. They will work with Supervising Producers to schedule segments, ensure deadlines are met and deliver the highest quality show for our daily, half-hour, syndicated entertainment/news magazine show.

Key Activities

• Must be a strong creative writer with experience working with a crew in the field.
• Knowledge of current events and trends in entertainment, pop culture, travel, lifestyle, fashion, etc.
• Must be able to remain calm in a stressful situation and conduct themselves in a professional manner.

Skills

Education & Experience

• Bachelor or Associates degree in a related field, and/or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years experience
• On-air talent in show/content formats including traditional news or entertainment.

Skills & Abilities

• Must have a passion for entertainment, pop-culture, and news.
• Excellent storytelling skills; we need people who are great at connecting with our target demographic in a fun and engaging way.
• Excellent and proven writing skills for television production.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required as well as the ability to successfully work in a close team environment.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize under tight deadlines.
• Active listening, visualization skills, and creativity.
• Ability to self-manage assigned projects/tasks & communicate risks in a timely manner.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to successfully interface with direct reports, peers and management
• Proven time-management skills, planning and ability to meet deadlines are a must.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced & fun! Must be flexible to adapt to the shows daily needs and be able to work in a deadline fashioned workflow while maintaining a positive attitude.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver's license and good driving record required. In addition, proof of insurance and liability coverage may be required.
