Our Thermal Maintenance Process Specialist SME will be responsible for driving change, implementing standardization, creating policy and procedures, instituting training programs, etc. Support wet plants by improving the thermal process systems that sterilize the product focusing mainly on the Hydroflex at first when then priority will shift to Malos and retorts for our thermal processing team. This new positon will focus on Hydroflexs, Malos and Retorts in our wet factories. Travel of 60% will be required, however, you need not relocate for this position. Youll leverage your sharp science background and thermal process experience to provide thermal processing expertise at HQ, in the factories and with co-manufacturers. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES











  • Under the guidance of the NPPC Thermal Process Authority provide technical support on thermal treatment maintenance and process for new and existing products/processes, packages for wet products.







  • Serve as the Thermal Maintenance Processing SME for Technical Applications Group, Product Technology Centers, Legal, Regulatory, Factories, Management, etc.
  • Develop a cohesive plan to standardize maintenance procedures, author SOPS and procedures for training, assess and improve physical appearance of equipment, etc.
  • Develop structured Preventative Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance programs.
  • Audit established programs to insure standardization and compliance for factories and co-man
  • As the functional expert create and maintain training tools for the factories and HQ Groups.
  • Effectively communicate results of all thermal process activities through oral presentation, information management meetings and written reports.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum):

Education: HS Diploma or GED Equivalent

Experience (Years/Type): HS Diploma or GED Equivalent plus 10+ years of thermal sterilizer maintenance, design or operations experience OR BS Degree in Engineering or related discipline plus 5+ years of thermal sterilizer maintenance, design or operations experience.
