Tetra Tech AMT is looking for a Training Support Specialist, Analyst and Coordinator who provides technical and analytical support for ASH Training Office. Who is expected to support a wide variety of tasks related to training and the FAA's Learning Management System (eLMS). The core focus of many of the tasks is to ensure consistent, high-quality staff work that reflects keen attention to detail and pride in the professionalism of the organization.

Primary job duties and responsibilities that includes, but are not limited to the following:

  • Supporting clients on site at FAA HQ
  • Maintains accurate official training files using the internal office checklist
  • Create course items and course offerings in eLMS
  • Register ASH employees and managers into Scheduled Offerings and/or slots for both internal and external training via eLMS
  • Coordinate training with other FAA LOBs and external vendors, i.e., FAA Academy, FLLI, FLETC, TSI, etc.
  • Add appropriate end-of-course evaluation to newly created Item IDs or if needed, create a new end-of-course evaluation and add to new Item ID
  • Complete end of course tasks within two weeks of the student's last training day (for external training):
    • Request students to provide a training certificate
    • Record student completion of training in LMS for tracking and audit purposes
    • Notify students to complete the end of course evaluation in eLMS
  • Research training vendors, course information, tuition cost, etc.
  • Notify employees and Training Coordinators (TCs), via email, the available Agency internal training courses and enroll employees upon their request
  • Create and announce the annual Call for Training to all ASH functional offices
  • Provide training recommendations to the AXM-200 training staff, internal and external customers
  • On a monthly basis, request an updated list of new or promoted ASH employees or managers from AXM-300 and request an ASH employee roster
  • Verifying student accounts (student information, direct supervisor, routing code, etc.) in eLMS
  • Enroll FAA managers into the appropriate manager training classes
  • Monitor new ASH Frontline Manager's completion of the Foundational Leadership Curriculum that must be completed during their probationary period
  • Enroll new ASH Middle Senior Managers into FLLI mandatory training course and monitor completions of FLLI Mandatory training
  • Assign mandatory EEO training to All ASH employees
  • Assign mandatory Ethics Training to all ASH employees
  • Track mandatory training completions for both ASH Managers and employees
  • Compose training participant memos (welcome letters) and send out
  • Generate and analyze various training reports for ASH employees
  • Develop training coordination guidance and process documents, in consultation with the ASH National Training Coordinator
  • Assist budget analyst in formulation of training funding needs
