This position supports the trust officer in the administration and daily activities of all account types in the Trust Company. The trust specialist will support the goals of the firm by providing excellent service to our clients and branches while maintaining fiduciary and regulatory standards.
This individual is responsible for:


  • Reviewing trust agreements and other documents for the establishment and closing of the accounts;
  • Communication with clients, branches and other parties;
  • Reviewing of bills, fees, income receipts, distributions and other client requests;
  • Participation on various Trust Company wide projects;
  • Partnering with Trust Operations and other areas as needed for the client experience
  • Supporting the team in growing the business.
  • High school degree required. Associate's degree or related professional degree strongly preferred;
  • At least 1 year trust or related professional experience required. Previous financial services experience preferred;
  • Ability to work with varying priorities and direction from multiple parties;
  • Must anticipate needs of clients and Trust Officers and take initiative to identify, follow up on and complete work;
  • Must be able to work in a professional team environment;
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with clients, branch teams, other associates and external professionals;
  • Organizational skills are critical;
  • Should be able to work with multiple systems and tools.
