**Job Description:**

Responsible for developing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Markets environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug, document programs as well as maintain corporate systems architecture. Employees work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. Employees typically have in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages. Employees are expected to have in-depth global markets product knowledge, and manage a high level of risk. Is clearly recognized as a content expert by peers. Individual contributor role. Typically requires 7-10 years of applicable experience. This job code is only to be used for Employees supporting Global Markets.


+ Work closely with US regulatory reporting Line of Business (LOB) to deliver technology changes driven by our regulatory agencies using existing technical assets consisting of both proprietary and vendor (Axiom) based components.

+ Proactive planning and execution of key release and production operation processes required for smooth platform operations.

+ Partner with key business partners to formulate a consistent, repeatable process for manage change to our platform.

+ Accountable for clean platform release packaging and assembling of key technical artifacts required for smooth platform operations post release.

+ Manage and Lead agile teams throughout the SDLC process while adhering to key timelines and quality control.

+ Own accountability for managing and analyzing issues/risks, developing alternative approaches/mitigation plans and facilitating implementation or removal of roadblocks across partners and ensure change and project compliance with all enterprise standards.

+ Communicate, influence and negotiate both vertically and horizontally to obtain agreement between partners and ensure transparency to key stakeholders, sponsor and champion.

+ Manage all environmental process and work closely with our infrastructure team to maintain a healthy processing environment.

+ Proactively manage resource allocations and technology infrastructure costs for production applications (and their non-production environments) to control the Total Cost of Ownership of the assets (TCOA).

**Required Skills:**

+ Excellent technical project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and understand technical work and meet deadlines for multiple technology projects.

+ Ability to manage complex project(s) simultaneously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy and a record of successful delivery of complex change.

+ Strong business-centric mind-set with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes.

+ Strong problem solving skills, excellent analytical and presentation skills; ability to synthesize complex data into actionable presentations / reports and communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients.

+ More than 7 years experience in the financial services industry in technical team management positions and in the Regulatory Reporting domain in particular.

+ Proven planning & monitoring skills with the ability to co-ordinate resources / tasks over multiple projects or tasks.

+ Strong customer focus with the ability to breakdown established barriers and suggest innovative change to help improve processes and systems.

+ An ability to think on your feet and to turn ideas and thoughts into decisions and actions

+ An Energetic drive and proven ability to meet deadlines while dealing with changing and competing priorities.

+ Resilience, with the ability to cope with difficult situations and to handle and resolve issues to the benefit of all stakeholders.

+ Flexibility, with a positive approach to change.

+ An ability to grow and maintain effective working relationships internally and with external suppliers.

+ Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
