Position Summary: A Web Developer/Designer is responsible for designing, developing, testing and delivering both local and national-level websites. The Designer must not just be good technically, but understands and learn clients business goals and needs and synthesize that into powerful online experiences.

Key Duties / Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop websites for local and national businesses. --- 50 %

  2. Communicates with clients to understand the needs, and maintains communication to support and service through phone calls and emails. ---- 20 %

  3. Stay up to date on website standards, perform regular site maintenance and troubleshoot errors and issues. ---- 20 %

  4. Able to react to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned. ---- 10 %

Education & Knowledge:

  • College degree or equivalent experience

  • High-level understanding: HTML5, CSS, PHP, CFML, XML, Javascript / JQuery, JSON

  • Experience in: Word, Excel, Access, MS-SQL and MySQL

  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems: Wordpress, ExpressionEngine, Joomla etc.

  • Moderate understanding of Microsoft IIS and web server management

Experience / Skills / Abilities:

  • Can design expert-level concepts in Photoshop and convert to final HTML layout

  • Solid understanding of navigation and user experience (UX) focused web design

  • Familiarity with responsive (mobile) layout techniques

  • Comfortable / Innovative ideas for B2B and B2C

  • Demonstrates creative, technical and analytical skills

  • Strong telephone and email communication skills

  • Ability to deal with high volume, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment

  • Problem solving

  • Analytical ability

  • Ability to meet deadlines

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Communication & Contacts (Internal/External): Position often communicates with client

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: Position will be in the Mountville, Pa office. In town travel is none to rare. Out of town travel is none to rare. Sitting is 100%.
