As a Wire Transfer Representative, you may look forward to:
Processing incoming and outgoing wires promptly, accurately, and according to the guidelines maintained in the banks Wire Transfer Policy and related Procedures.
Performing callbacks to members to verify outgoing wire information.
Assisting with processing of online wires as needed, including extensive review of wires fraud review to determine authenticity.
Generating necessary end of day wire reports.
Reviewing and responding to online wire investigation requests.
Researching all return wires and taking appropriate action to correct errors.
Providing member and branch support relating to wire transfer processing.
Reviewing and researching ACH and Wire suspense accounts for outstanding entries.
Acting as backup to other tasks in the Commercial Processing department.
Performing other duties and departmental functions as assigned.
Obeying all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).

A proven record of punctuality and attendance.
The understanding and agreement to work when called upon. For example, at a time when there is a system issue after hours, work may be needed intermittently.
A High School diploma or equivalent.
Working knowledge of Windows, MS Office applications, and the Internet.

Youll be better prepared if you have (desired skills and competencies):
1-2 years of Bank Operations experience.

Physically you can anticipate to:
Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally.
Exert up to/carry 20 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time.
Vision, hearing, speech, and manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with fingers is required. Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation.
Not be substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
