NASCAR seeks a skilled and detail-oriented Aircraft Maintenance Technician to support the safety, reliability, and presentation of our company aircraft based in Daytona Beach, Florida.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring our aviation operations meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Participate in NASCAR’s Safety Management System and daily risk assessment processes
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, alterations, and preventative maintenance in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Parts 43 and 91
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections
- Coordinate and monitor aircraft fueling and fuel loads
- Maintain aircraft interiors and exteriors to professional standards
- Support aircraft deployment and recovery at NASCAR facilities
- Maintain hangar facilities, grounds, and ground support equipment
- Tow, park, and secure company and transient aircraft
- Handle and store hazardous materials in compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate aircraft logbooks and maintenance records
Requirements
Required skills / experience:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate required
- 4+ years of related aircraft maintenance experience, or equivalent education and experience
- Inspection Authorization (IA) Certificate (FAA 65.95) preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a safety-critical environment
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for training, inspections, refurbishments, and company events
