JOB DESCRIPTION

KSNV is looking for a seasoned Facilities Maintenance Technician who will ensure the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of the television station.

Responsibilities

• Will perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guest and staff
• Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to avoid any breakdowns
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues and execute timely repairs
• Maintain open communication with the General Manager regarding facility status and maintenance activities
• Submit weekly maintenance reports and track work orders or service tickets
• Follow safety protocols and chemicals responsibly
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
• Routine use of office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers may be required

Qualifications

• General experience in repair/maintenance of equipment and physical building
• General knowledge of HVAC and/or electrical equipment
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, analytical problem solving, and communication skills
• General understanding of computer skills, including email, excel, and digital maintenance logs
