We are seeking a dynamic Branch Manager to lead and grow an established location for our organization. This role combines leadership, sales, operations, and customer service in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities.
About the Role
As Branch Manager, you will oversee all aspects of branch operations, including inside and outside sales, warehouse inventory, and production/shop activities. You'll lead by example, motivate your team, and implement lean business practices to drive efficiency and profitability.
Essential Functions
- Manage branch performance, including sales, profits, and operational efficiency.
- Lead, train, and develop inside and outside sales teams, warehouse, and production staff.
- Make sales calls, maintain key customer relationships, and ensure high satisfaction.
- Oversee inventory management, order delivery, production quality, and workflow efficiency.
- Analyze financial performance, including EBITA, and set branch goals.
- Monitor daily operations, reinforce safety programs, and perform cycle counts.
- Communicate effectively with corporate departments and provide monthly performance reports.
- Recruit, hire, and maintain a motivated, high-performing workforce.
Experience, Education and Skills
- 5+ years branch management experience in industrial distribution or related field.
- 2+ years experience managing and developing staff.
- Strong financial acumen and accountability for branch EBITDA.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and lean business practices preferred.
