Job Description
• Support the Bank's Retail Banking transformation and system enhancement initiatives
• Act as a key interface between Retail Banking business units, IT delivery teams, vendors, and governance functions
• Ensure requirements alignment with approved business strategy, IT roadmap, and enterprise architecture principles
• Contribute to initiative scoping, feasibility assessment, and solution option evaluation for wholesale banking systems
• Elicit and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for retail banking systems, including:
o Core retail and customer servicing systems
o Customer-facing channels (mobile, internet, branch, call centre)
o Payments, cards, and customer onboarding processes
• Prepare and maintain requirement artefacts such as:
o Business Requirements Documents (BRD)
o Functional Specifications / User Stories
o Process maps, workflows, use cases, and data flows
• Facilitate requirements workshops, walkthroughs, and sign-off sessions with stakeholders
• Work closely with:
o Retail banking, operations, finance, compliance, and risk teams
o Internal IT teams (delivery, integration, infrastructure, information security)
o External vendors and system integrators
• Support UAT planning and execution, including requirement clarification, test case validation, and defect analysis
• Manage requirement changes and impact assessments through formal change management processes
• Ensure requirements address regulatory, security, operational, and performance considerations
• Build effective working relationships with business and technology stakeholders
• Act as a trusted point of contact for clarifying business needs and resolving requirement gaps
• Support documentation and knowledge transfer for system continuity and operational readiness
Qualifications
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services preferably in Oman or GCC
• Strong exposure to retail banking systems, including core banking, channels, payments, and customer servicing
• Experience working with vendor-led implementations and internal IT delivery team
• Hands-on involvement in UAT, change management, and production rollout support
• Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent) - Preferred

Preferences will be given to Candidates with previous experience in GCC
Preferences will be given to candidates which are available immediately to maximum 30 days to join.
