Cornea/Anterior Segment Specialist
The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston), McGovern Medical School, Department of Ophthalmology is seeking board-eligible or board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in Cornea/Anterior Segment to join our team. Preference will be given to individuals who have completed an ASCRS or AAO-approved cornea fellowship. This is a tenure-track faculty position with opportunities for research, teaching, and clinical leadership. Appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be determined based on experience.

Requirements
Position Key Accountabilities:
This is an academic appointment with research and teaching opportunities and expectations. We are looking for a clinician interested in building a busy practice at our primary location, the Cizik Eye Clinic, located within the Texas Medical Center. Other responsibilities may include resident and/or fellow supervision at our county hospital, Lyndon B Johnson Hospital, which is central to and the primary location of our education programs.
Qualifications:
Completed fellowship training or equivalent in Cornea/Anterior Segment
Board certified/eligible in ophthalmology
Eligible for a medical license in the state of Texas.
