Description
Job Summary:The Director of Basketball Operations - Women's is responsible for supporting the TCU Basketball Program by coordinating and implementing recruiting efforts; assisting with operations.
Duties & Essential Job Functions:
1. Coordinates team travel by booking all transportation, lodging, securing travel advances and assisting with team needs.
2. Represents TCU basketball program by acting as a liaison for all administrative meetings involving basketball.
3. Assists with budgets by monitoring and maintaining a budgetary control.
4. Implements players/coaches calendar of events by monitoring university schedule/athletic department schedule and basketball schedule.
5. Assists with recruiting visits by setting up and managing events, both official and unofficial.
6. Act as a liaison for all high school coaches that visit the TCU campus by planning and scheduling all visits with TCU staff.
7. Maintains historical information by keeping a statistical database for film editing for coaches and media outlets.
8. Promotes TCU men and/or women's basketball by assisting marketing department, compliance and ticket office in meeting goals; providing information and assistance in projects relative to basketball.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in college or professional athletics including a minimum or 1 years' experience at the Division 1 level.
Preferred Education & Experience:

Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:
• Valid Texas Driver's License.
• Must be insurable under the university motor vehicle requirements.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Knowledge of job-related policies and regulations.

• Knowledge of NCAA guidelines.

• Ability to manage multiple projects.

Physical Requirements (With or Without Accommodations):
• Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information.
• Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication.

• Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting.
• Lifting and moving objects and equipment up to 10 lbs.
Work Environment:
• Work is indoors and sedentary and is subject to schedule changes and/or variable work hours.
• This role is an on campus, in-person position.
• There are no harmful environmental conditions present for this job.
• The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate.
