Position Summary:
The Electrician is responsible for the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems within luxury motorhomes and specialty vehicles manufactured by Midwest Automotive Design - REV Group. This position ensures all wiring and components meet internal quality standards, engineering specifications, and safety regulations to deliver a premium RV product to our customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install and route wiring harnesses, switches, lighting, and electrical components in accordance with engineering blueprints and schematics.
- Read, interpret, and work from wiring diagrams, electrical layouts, and build prints.
- Test, diagnose, and repair 12V and 120V electrical systems, including inverters, converters, battery systems, and control panels.
- Use standard hand and power tools, multimeters, and specialized testing equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with company quality standards, REV Group safety policies, and applicable electrical codes.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve electrical issues or design changes during the build process.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Assist in continuous improvement activities related to process flow, product quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training preferred.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience as an automotive, RV, marine, or industrial electrician preferred.
- Experience reading and interpreting schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of 12V DC and 120V AC electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits and components efficiently.
- Familiarity with proper wire sizing, crimping, and termination techniques.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, and use hands for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Exposure to typical manufacturing environment conditions such as noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, from 5:00am to 1:30pm; overtime and occasional Saturdays as required by production demand.
