Job Title:Full-stack Java & Python Developer
Location:Bournemouth (x5 days in office)
Salary/Rate: £409 a day (Inside IR35)
Start Date: April 2026
Job Type: Initial 6 month contract

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experiencedSenior Java and Python Full Stack Developerto design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications at our client who is a leading global investment bank. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions usingJava, Python, Spring Boot, AWS, and modern frontend technologies.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust, high-performance applications while ensuring code quality, scalability, and security across the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop high-quality software design and architecture using AWS, SQL, Spring Boot, Java, Python, Spring MVC, JavaScript and MySQL.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Some hands on knowledge on React JS, Redux, HTML5, CSS3

- Some exposure to frontend testing tools like Jest

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

- Implement security and data protection measures.

- Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.

- Oversee the development of documentation throughout the software development life cycle.

- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

- Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.

- Contribute to continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
