This Opportunity:
The Grants Coordinator supports the full lifecycle of local, state & federal grants, including application development, documentation, reporting, compliance tracking, and communication across teams. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and familiar with state & federal funding processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Pre‑Award Support
Assist with reviewing and researching local, state & federal funding opportunities on Grants.gov and agency-specific portals.
Coordinate with agencies to help support timelines and gather required documents for proposal submissions.
Help prepare proposal components, including forms, attachments, resumes, letters, and certifications.
Ensure proposals comply with grant guidelines and formatting requirements.
Post‑Award Coordination
Support program and finance staff in tracking deliverables, reporting deadlines, and allowable costs.
Assist with entering data, preparing drafts of progress/performance reports, and uploading documentation to federal systems.
Coordinate communications with grantor agencies and internal stakeholders.
Compliance & Documentation
Monitor documentation for audit readiness, including invoices, timesheets, procurement records, and match/in‑kind tracking.
Help ensure expenditures meet state & federal allowable cost principles.
Support the preparation of materials for internal reviews and external audits.
Administrative & Coordination Tasks
Track grant calendars, renewal dates, and reporting milestones.
Schedule grant-related meetings and document action items.
Assist with drafting internal communications, summaries, and status updates.
Maintain system registrations and update organizational profiles across federal portals.
Required Qualifications
Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
13 years of experience supporting federal, state, or foundation grants.
Familiarity with State grants such DOLA and other resources.
Experience with federal grant systems such as Grants.gov or PMS.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, Excel or similar tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience coordinating federal grants in nonprofit, government, higher education, or similar environments.
Working knowledge of basic budgeting or grant financial tracking.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, or similar tools.
Experience supporting compliance or audit processes.
