For our customer, a major payments company we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer specialising in Java, Camunda/ BPMN & Azure Services

this role is fully remote from the EU
Rate: €40-53 EUR per hour
contract to dec 31 2026 + extensions

Your Responsibilities
• You develop modern Java applications (Java 17+) in an agile team and contribute new ideas to a complex system landscape
• You provide support in the introduction of modern technologies such as microservices, OpenAPI, event streaming, and cloud solutions
• Architecture, conceptual tasks, and responsibility for quality are a natural part of your role

Your Profile
• Several years of experience in Java backend development with Spring (Boot, JPA, Security), Hibernate, and REST
• Solid understanding of clean code, automated testing, and build/deployment processes (CI/CD with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Azure cloud services, ideally including Azure Service Bus
• Knowledge of relational data modeling with SQL (MS SQL Server)
• Ideally, experience with BPMN and Camunda as well as a conceptual and architectural mindset
- You enjoy working in an agile environment with Jira and Confluence
